Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. provides geotechnical engineering and construction inspection services for a wide variety of transportation, power plant and utility, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Our construction services supply clients with codes, plans, and specifications and therefore guarantee the completed project will perform as designed. Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. services a wide variety of federal and state agencies, city and county public works departments, and private clients, such as manufacturers, hotel/ casinos, shopping center developers, utility companies, mining companies, ranchers and farmers, and residential builders. We work for the Nevada Department of Transportation on freeways and bridges; Sierra Pacific Power Company, Ormat Geothermal, Nevada Power, and the California Energy Commission on power plants and transmission lines; clients such as J.C. Penney and Barnes and Noble on distribution centers; Panattoni Development and DP Partners on industrial facilities; the Atlantis Hotel and Station's Casino on gaming projects; and Centex Homes, Toll Brothers, Inc., KB Home, and R & K Homes on residential projects.
Projects are primarily in the state of Nevada, the most rapidly growing state in the nation. However, we also service the Eastern belt of Northern California and have federal projects in adjoining states. Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. commonly receives accommodations and certificates of appreciation from clients and University of Nevada, Reno. Our President, Dr. Patrick A. Pilling, Ph.D., P.E., received the Outstanding Young Engineer of the Year award from the Nevada Society of Professional Engineers in 1997, and the 2001 Outstanding performance award from the California Energy Commission. Mr. Larry Johnson, a senior consultant with Black Eagle Consulting, Inc., received a personal tribute given on the floor of the U.S. Senate by our U.S. Senator and minority leader, the honorable Senator Harry Reid.
